Deciding whether to litigate or settle can often be a fine line—and Bill Cameron knows both sides of it well. With more than 20 years of experience practicing law in North Carolina, Bill has built a reputation as both a skilled litigator and a practical problem-solver. He guides clients through the challenges of civil and family law with a focus on achieving meaningful results rather than unnecessary conflict.
Bill regularly represents clients in family court, handling matters such as child custody, divorce, and equitable distribution. He also assists individuals and families with wills, trusts, and estate administration, helping them plan wisely and navigate difficult transitions with clarity and care. His balanced approach—resolute when litigation is needed, but always mindful of opportunities for resolution—has earned him the trust of clients across North Carolina.
In addition to his practice, Bill has served as an interviewer for the North Carolina Board of Law Examiners, conducting bar candidate interviews. He has greatly enjoyed meeting and mentoring new attorneys as they begin their legal careers.
Outside the courtroom, Bill enjoys time with his wife and son, along with their three dogs. An avid skier, he’s also developed a growing interest in tennis. Over the years, he has volunteered as a coach for youth soccer, basketball, and tennis, continuing his commitment to mentoring others both in and out of the courtroom.
